| AD SPECS & REQUIREMENTS |
Ads must conform to specifications outlined herein. Elements not meeting specifications will be
returned for revision, which may delay the launch date.
Creative Guidelines:
- Standard gif/jpeg Creatives:
3 business days prior to launch date
- Rich media/Third Party Creatives:
5 business days prior to launch date
- Targeted ads and other ad formats:
Subject to availability. Contact your account representative for more information.
- All creative is subject to approval.
- Ad file size must be less than 30kb
- Animated creative can’t loop more than 3 times. Fast flashing and fast looping are NOT allowed.
- User initiated audio and video is allowed within the normal ad sizes.
Banner Ads Specs:
- Banner Ads: the text and graphics remain within the ad unit.
- Expandable-Banner: the ad expands beyond its original size upon user initiation.
- Pop-Under: the ad appears under the page being viewed in a separate browser window.
- Interstitial: the ad appears in a transitional format after the user signs up for an account. An interstitial will have a “Skip Ad Link” and will automatically redirect after 10 seconds to the main page.

Flash Ads:
- A backup GIF or JPEG image must be supplied with the .SWF file.
- Maximum of 18 frames per second can be used.
- The ad must NOT prompt the user to upgrade to a newer version.
Animation/Looping Guidelines
- Looping can be unlimited as long as the animation stops at 15 seconds.
- Rapid Flashing/Extreme Animation is not accepted.
Audio Guidelines
- Audio MUST be user initiated. Audio shut off button must be clearly visible and accessible.
- Method of audio initiation and termination must be the same albeit click or rolling over.
Design Guidelines:
- Advertisements must not include vulgarity, hate, religion, and/or sexually explicit content. Velocity Services, Inc will determine if the creative is eligible to run.
- Velocity Services, Inc. will not run advertisements from our competitors or anyone located within this list: Advertiser Block List
- Velocity Services, Inc. will reserve the right to require revision of any creative, text link, or URL used to run on our sites.
- All in page banners must have a border.
- Ads may not have auto install prompts, pop-ups, pop-unders, .exe prompts, spyware, adware, or anything else that may be deemed questionable.

Late Creative Policy
- Advertiser is still responsible for the amount of inventory purchased in the Insertion Order.
Third-party ad serving
We accept most third-party ad tags for most major providers. However, please allow extra time
for testing and evaluation.
